Lindsay Lohan is a very talented young woman that got mixed-up with wrong group of “yes” people. I believe both her parents let her down. But more importantly, she allowed the fact that she was a movie to inflate her ego. No one could tell her “no” and she had to believe that she was above everything and everyone. She stopped being accountable to herself and anyone.
It all started with the dysfunction within her family. Lindsay loves both here parents and the divorce rocked here foundation. Top this off with her living on her own in Los Angeles at a very young age. A city filled with so many leeches waiting for someone naïve as Miss Lohan. It was only a matter time before she fell into a disruptive pattern.
The fact that her mother was in extreme denial did not help her cause either. She stops being her mother and became another “yes” people. She could not afford to challenge Lindsay because her income came from Lindsay. I hope her point of view has change regarding her addiction.
On the other hand, her father love for the media takes away from his true concern for his daughter. He has being say the truth regarding her addiction for a while. He needs to find other avenue to share his concern and stop holding press conferences. It might take years before Lindsay might trust and communicate with him again. So, he needs to respect that fact and move on with his life.
Lindsay is an adult now so she needs to own up to her addiction and get rid-off all the “yes” people in her life. This might mean not associating with her parents for a while. Her mean focus now should be her health and wellbeing. This has to take priority over here career. If she rushes back into her career she will be, right back to her unhealthy behaviors.
I wish this talented young woman a speedy recovery and an outstanding movie career. Once she is healthy, I believe she might win an Oscar because she is truly talented. I hope both her parent could find a common ground to bring some kind of peace and harmony within the Lohan clan. Lindsay loves her father very much but he needs to find a way to stop causing her pain. Both Lindsay and Michael need to find some balance in order to co-exist.
